Aston Martin Rapide
Aston Martin announce prices for the eagerly awaited four-door Rapide sports car, the first of its type for the luxury car maker.Starting from £139,950 for the standard specification, you can expect: Bang & Olufsen Beosound audio system tailored specifically for Rapide, heated memory seats, dual cast brakes and Adaptive Damping System. The first UK customer deliveries from Aston Martin's new Rapide plant in Graz, Austria, will hit their drives around May 2010.

In September, advertising agency Leo Burnett London and homeless charity Shelter teamed up to invite arty types including Marc Quinn, Gillian Wearing and Alexander McQueen to design playing cards, each of which was sold at a charity auction. However, if you weren’t one of the lucky bidders, you can now buy an A5-sized replica deck of the cards (from a limited run of 1,000) for £70. Consider it a gift for the man who has everything to benefit the man who has… well, not very much at all. It makes a strange kind of sense.
